SHOUT is Birmingham's LGBT Cultural and Community Festival!

Since 2009, SHOUT has delivered an inclusive and diverse programme of visual arts, theatre, music, performance, literature and community activities in order to promote the diversity of the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and raise the city's profile as both an LGBT and cultural tourist destination.

SHOUT boasts a wealth of activity bringing internationally acclaimed artists to the city and providing local producers with a unique opportunity to be part of a number of commissioned projects.

In 2011, SHOUT featured over 50 separate events and performances from over 100 artsists across the West Midlands. 

None of this would be possible without the suppoort of Birmingham LGBT, our funders and our committed team of volunteers.  Many thanks to everyone who contributes to making SHOUT happen.
