Birmingham and the West Midlands has a very active LGBT community sector.
Since 2009 SHOUT has worked with these groups to deliver a strand called YOUR SHOUT - a presentation of performances, gigs, recitals and activities designed to showcase these groups and their passion for community, arts and culture.

Formed in 2008, the Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra brings together musicians from across the Midlands. We enjoy giving fun and engaging performances in venues across Birmingham.
BiFest is about celebrating and exploring bisexuality in the form of bi-friendly surroundings where there are workshops, discussion sessions and chill out spaces.

A Birmingham-based acting group for the LGBT community open to anyone. Acting Out meets weekly in the Birmingham Gay Village and put on performances throughout the year.

Pink Sou'westers offers accessible, inclusive, non-scene events and activities for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans people.

The Midland's Choir for gay, lesbian, bisexual transgender people and their friends.

Nubian Rainbow aims to make a difference by challenging issues prevallant to the black LGBT community in regards to attitudes, thinking and behaviour by campaigning and advocacy with the aim of creating a proactive black LGBT community whereby a forum for creative diallogue and effective communication can be developed.

Birmingham Blaze FC welcomes and encourages all people to come along and play football regardless of background, sexual orientation or ability.
Moseley Shoals was founded in 2000 and has grown into a thriving and diverse sporting and leisure swimming club with everything from 'splash and chat' to competition standard swimming.
BrumQueerInk is an LGBT writing group and welcomes everybody who has a passion for writing.
The Rainbow Film Festival places Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Trans lives at the heart of Shropshire's entertainment programme.
